We set up keypads, fobs, and card readers on building and office doors, so you decide who gets in.
What is access control?
A code, a fob, or a card in place of a key, or alongside one. Each person gets their own, and when someone moves out or leaves the job you switch off their fob instead of changing locks. It works on lobby doors, loft floors, office suites, gates, and the back door to the yard.
When people call us for this
- A rental building near the waterfront wants fobs on the front door.
- A converted loft wants each studio tenant on their own code.
- Keys keep multiplying and you want to stop handing them out.
- An old keypad died and needs replacing.
Does it work with my intercom?
Usually. Many panels pair a fob reader with the intercom, so residents tap in and guests buzz up. We look at what is on the wall and say what stays and what goes.
Do we still have a key?
Yes. Most doors keep a cylinder as a backup, and we can put it on your master key system and cut the copies at the shop.
What happens on the visit?
We come out from the shop with the parts your call or your photo told us to bring. Before we touch anything we show you what is worn, bent, or broken, then we do the work and test every lock and every key with you before we go. If the door itself needs something, we say so and you decide.
Frequently asked
Can you add a reader to an old door?
Usually. Some old doors need an electric strike or new hardware first, and we tell you before we start.
Who manages the fobs after?
You do. We show you how to add and remove fobs or codes before we leave.
