We fit high security cylinders and deadbolts with controlled keys on doors that need more than a basic lock.
What makes a lock high security?
A tougher cylinder inside and a controlled key outside. Copies of a controlled key are cut only for the people named on the account, not for whoever picks one up. We install Medeco and Mul-T-Lock and fit them into the deadbolt you already have whenever the door allows it.
When people call us for this
- You want a serious lock on a ground-floor apartment or a house door.
- Too many copies of your key are out in the world.
- You run a shop or office and want to decide who can copy a key.
- A building wants one controlled key for its front door.
Can you keep my existing deadbolt?
Often, yes. Many deadbolts accept a high security cylinder in place of the standard one. If yours cannot, we say so and quote a full replacement.
Where are the keys cut?
At the shop, on your account. When you need another copy, come in with ID and we cut it. Nobody else can.
What happens on the visit?
We come out from the shop with the parts your call or your photo told us to bring. Before we touch anything we show you what is worn, bent, or broken, then we do the work and test every lock and every key with you before we go. If the door itself needs something, we say so and you decide.
Frequently asked
Who gets copies of my key?
Only the people you put on the account. You decide.
Does high security work with a master key system?
Yes. Buildings and businesses run controlled keys and a master key together all the time.
